POSITION OVERVIEW
The Banquet Server plays a key role in delivering seamless and elevated service for special events, corporate functions, and private activations within the Tenant Lounge. This role is guest-facing and operationally supportive, blending hospitality excellence with efficient execution. The banquet server will work collaboratively with the event lead and kitchen/bar team to ensure all aspects of the guest experience are executed to Porter Hospitality standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Execute event set-up, service, and tear-down based on BEO (Banquet Event Order) standards.
Prepare dining and service areas, ensuring accuracy of place settings and cleanliness of space.
Provide full-service food and beverage hospitality for standing and seated service formats.
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, event leads, and fellow team members.
Anticipate guest needs and respond with grace, urgency, and care.
Maintain knowledge of food & beverage offerings, including allergens, specials, and beverage pairings.
Support logistics: linen handling, equipment reset, glassware polish, etc.
Ensure all service ware is cleared efficiently and discreetly throughout event duration.
Support additional duties as assigned, including bar, dish support or event reset.
